Use Proxy If you must use a proxy server to access the Internet, you will need to check this box. All other boxes are disabled if this box is unchecked. Unchecking this box, if checked, will reset all values on the form. Clear Settings Used to clear all settings on this form. Auto Check Proxy Settings Click this button to check for proxy settings stored in the Windows registry. If your Windows registry does not show a proxy enabled, no values will be loaded. Only values for the proxy server and proxy port are stored in the Windows registry. Proxy Server Enter the domain name or IP address of the proxy server. Proxy Port Enter the port number used by the proxy server. Only integer values are valid values. Use Authentication If your proxy server requires authentication, this box must be checked. Please note that TLE Retriever does not support encrypted proxy authentication. Proxy UserID Enter your proxy user ID. Proxy Password Enter your proxy password. Retain Authentication Check this box to save your proxy user ID and password in the .ini file. If this box is not checked, but proxy authentication is required, you will be prompted for your proxy user ID and password each time you run the program. Save Save all current settings on the form. If Retain Authentication is not checked, the proxy user ID and password will not be saved. Close Close the form and return to the main program. If you have checked Retain Authentication but have not entered values for both the proxy user ID and password, you will be reminded to provide these values. If you have changed any values on the form and have not saved them, you will be prompted to save them before exiting the form. Note: Values for the proxy settings are saved in the debug log (if debugging is turned on) when the program loads and when the values are saved. Proxy user ID and passwords are shown as a set of asterisks to protect this information. |
